This page exists because building a house from a picture is dangerous. We would rather say so plainly than have anyone hurt or out of pocket. Read it once. It is short.
Elevations is a visualisation tool. It is not architectural, engineering, or construction advice.
Every image you generate here is a probabilistic AI rendering of a façade. Treat it as a sketch — a fast way to see an idea — and not as a buildable plan.
1. AI output is visualisation, not a plan
The images Elevations produces come from a third-party generative AI model (named in the sub-processor table in our Privacy Policy). They are artistic renderings inspired by the parameters you choose. They do not represent a real building. They have no dimensions, no structural sizing, no material specification, no MEP routing, and no relationship to any specific plot, soil condition, climate zone, or local regulation.
2. We are not your architect
Using Elevations does not create an architect-client relationship between you and M/s Utopian Fold or Ongrid. The free tier and the credit packs do not include any professional architectural service. The Expert Report is a free designer review, not a sealed architectural opinion. If you want a professional, licensed architect to design your home, talk to Ongrid or any other studio of your choice — that is a separate engagement under a separate contract.
3. Building codes and bye-laws
Elevations is not checked against, and is not guaranteed to comply with, the National Building Code of India, your state development control regulations, your municipal bye-laws, your zoning, your setbacks, your FAR, fire-safety norms, structural-safety norms, or any other applicable code. Many things you can imagine in a generated image are illegal, structurally unsafe, or both, in your specific context.
4. Construction decisions are yours
You take all the risk for any real-world decision you base on a generated elevation — including (but not limited to) instructing a contractor, signing off on drawings, applying for permissions, purchasing materials, or starting site work. M/s Utopian Fold is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, regulatory penalty, or rework cost arising from such decisions. If you are about to build, please put a licensed architect and structural engineer between Elevations and your site.
5. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M/s Utopian Fold, its partners, employees, and contractors from any third-party claim arising from your construction, publication, or other real-world use of any image generated by Elevations. This is in addition to, and not in place of, the limitation of liability and indemnity provisions in our Terms of Service.
6. When you are ready, talk to a human
Elevations is built to be the first ten minutes of a project — a way to see an idea, share it with your family, and decide whether you want to take it further.
